Yes. Because CalmClip processes files locally using FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, it handles large files (1 GB and above) without upload delays. Editing starts immediately after you select the file.

Does the face detection run on my device?

Yes. The ONNX Runtime model runs locally in your browser. No video frames are sent to a server.

What if it misses a face?

You can draw manual blur regions over any area of the frame, including faces the detector missed.

Does blurring require Pro?

Yes. Face blur is a Pro feature.

What formats does face blurring export to?

The same formats as other CalmClip exports: WebM and MOV (Pro).

Will it blur faces at an angle or in profile?

Detection accuracy varies by angle, lighting, and resolution. The manual region tool covers cases where automatic detection falls short.
